Women's Prize for Fiction
The Bailey's Women's Prize for Fiction is one of the most prestigious literary awards available. The prize was first awarded in 1995 and has since continued annually as a celebration of excellence, originality and accessibilty in women's writing from around the world.
Each winner receives a cheque for £30,000 and a limited edition bronze, known as a 'Bessie', created and donated by the artist Grizel Niven.
